Feeling Rough

  I guess I got a bug. Ate nothing all day yesterday and had the dry heaves on and off all day. Finally took all a seltzer and felt better at bedtime. Felt rough this morning but got my shower and am dressed and drinking tea. We'll see. Looks like good travelling weather...later

Forgot all about posting this am. Yesterday I wrote my blog twice and it wouldn't publish so I gave up. Busy getting ready to leave tomorrow morning. Fed the flowers,filled ,am doing laundry and need to iron soon. Well pack as much as we can tonight. I also feel scrappy..nausea..not sure why...later

Memorial Day 2014

  A beautiful sunny morning in east Tennessee but showers likely this afternoon. We have a lot to do to get ready for leaving on Friday. I'm doing laundry now and have a breakfast casserole ready to pop in the oven. I saw it on Facebook last week..hope it's delicious. We're going to steam some shrimp for dinner along with potato salad. Laundry is beckoning...later

Change of Plans

  Richard's sister died yesterday morning. The funeral will be Saturday in Uniontown which means we'll miss Madison's graduation. We will be there for the party on Sunday are then leave Monday for Michigan. I hate missing her graduation but we need to be at the funeral. Things never happen when it's convenient. So sad for Gina and Mario. Norma was 86 and led a full and interesting life. She died peacefully without suffering. You can't ask for more...later

Memorial Day Weekend.

  Not exactly sure what this weekend will bring. We may be going to the lake with Jim and Tommie. In a bit I'll make potato salad. It's a beautiful day here so we need to do something. We leave next Friday for Madison s graduation with party to follow on Sunday. MOnday well head to Michigan to spend some time with Carol. Baxter will stay in the kennel....later

Colonoscopy Clean!

  All went well yesterday. I got home about 11,ate some lunch and then fell asleep for a few hours. Woke up watched The Chew and then fell asleep again. By evening I was back to normal. I have a bit of cleaning up to do around here and then will head to the store for some things for the weekend. RICHARD has a n appointment to get a shot in his eyeball....later

I Made It

  It's all over. Yesterday was the worst. It was the prep day where I had to drink the nasty stuff followed by 4 cups of water and then do it again at 7 last night. Today the procedure went well. I was home about 11 feeling okay,but loopy. I are some lunch and then slept for 2 hours. I feel good but still shaky on my feet. So glad it's all over!...later

Prep Day

  Tomorrow I have my colonoscopy so prep day today. Not a fun day. The day is supposed to be sunny but none yet. Big day for Miss Eva..she's three! I wish I could be with her. I hope her day is tons of fun!!...later

Sunny Morning

  Watched the season finale y Masterpiece Theatre and Louis C. K. last night. All my shows are winding down so we'll catch up on old shows. I need to clean the deck today and water  everything. We really need rain. R has a des appointment this afternoon. I'll drop him off and go to Old Navy. I need to figure out something tells make for dinner...later

Foggy Morning

  Really foggy this morning but supposed to be a nice day. I'm in the midst of laundry I also need to blow off the deck, fill humming bird feeders and a few other chores. Going to the gym after lunch. I finished my book..The Invention of Wings. It was the best book I've read in a long time. I was sad to finish it. I wanted it to go on....later

Sunny Sunday???

  No sun yet but I'm hoping. It is supposed to be warmer. No sun and chilly weather doesn't make me happy. Brunch is over. R isn't enjoying food much and probably won't until he gets off antibiotics. Not much going on here. Loved watching California Chrome win the Preekness!  I hope he becomes the first triple crown winner in a long time. Birthday week for Miss Eva. Can't believe she's going to be three! I'll miss being there this year. I gave her gifts when I was there.... later

The Wee

  So far it looks like a nice weekend. Yesterday started out very sunny and I headed out to grocery shop. I was hoping Jack would get here to cut the grass. As I started lunch it looked like rain. Jack got here about the same time as the rain. They did finish and the rest of the afternoon was on and off rain.We got a call from Richard's niece that her mom was going to receive Hospice care. Norma is Richard's only surviving sibling. She is 86. We last saw her last May.She was pretty good then but fell and broke her hip in the summer and started going downhill from there. This is really sad. She was such an integral part of the Blosser family!!...later

Sunshine Again

Rain is over but chilly. I'm off this morning to do some grocery shopping. A d a note to Muir...I understand your dilemma and agree. Things aren't always what they seem on the outside. Hoping the grass gets cut today. Happy TG I F....later

late posting

  I wasn't connected. Rained most of the night and is getting much cooler. So we had ribs and potato salad last night. R is on antibiotics and food doesn't taste right to him and I'm not a lover of ribs. I made a new potato salad recipe from America's Test Kitchen. Neither one of us liked it. Don't know why I try new recipes when we like my tried and true...later

He's Home

  Richard came home yesterday and we're all very happy..Baxter too. It's very comforting to have a good hospital just down the road. Tonight I'll finally have the ribs I had planned for Sunday. I'll also make potato salad. Rain coming in tonight. I'm hoping Jack will come today to cut the grass. It's really high...later

Update Richard

  Richard had a good day yesterday. We knocked off the nyc Times puzzle when I got there. He had a good lunch but said sundays meals were awful. They put him on a more powerful antibiotic. Haven't talked to him this morning. Leaving soon to walk Baxter...later

No News

  Haven't talked to R yet. I'll call in a bit. I have some errands to run and go to hospital this afternoon. I hope by then I'll know something. I just called him and no answer. He possibly couldn't get to the phone...later

Mothers Day!?!

  As a young mother it was always a fun day..enjoying the kids doing sweet things for you. Now I love hearing from my adult children and step children..today was weird. I took Richard to the hospital at 6. Came home later to clean house and do things that needed to be done. I think all Will be well in the coming few days. I'm hoping he will be home shortly. Life goes on. Enjoy every moment for what it is. No day is perfect but I c think of any day that doesn't have sweet moments...later

Rainy Saturday

  Raining this morning. I went to Kroger s and got things for tonight and tomorrow. Caught up on some programs we had taped. We like Fargo but really weird. Also watched Jimmy Kimmel. I started a new book which I love already..the invention of wings. Mothers days cards in the mail this morning..so nice...later

Up Early

  Got up too early and R was already up..not sure why. Rain expected sometime today. My immediate plans are to clean house today and to the gym after lunch. Yesterday was the last day for Crowd Goes Wild. We loved that show and are really mad at Fox for canceling!!

Rain Coming

  Another nice day,but rain coming tonight. We are down 3 inches so that will be welcome. We plan to give Baxter a bath this afternoon. This morning we meet a guy at Cracker Barrel to talk about our time share. That's it for me...Later

No Sleep

  R was up every few hours and that kept me up so two tired people this morning. It's a beautiful morning and should stay nice until Saturday.  Went to public yesterday and got scallops and cold so fish for dinner tonight. I need to do some house cleaning later....later

connection trouble

  I had trouble connecting this morning so couldn't blog until now. Just let me say that I love amazon help. They are so friendly and helpful!  Baxter and I went to the green belt for a nice morning walk. When I got home I made granola. R often eats it in the morning and it is really expensive. This recipe was on America's test kitchen. I hope he likes it. I'll try to be more careful writing my blog after yesterdays spelling but if it brings laughter that s. Okay...Later

Still nice

 A nice sunshiny Monday morning. Laundry working,dishwasher emptied,kitchen floor vacuumed. Next ill take my shower. R is going grocery shopping. Tacos for dinner in honor of cinch Dr mayo. To the gym after lunch....later

Love Sundays

Brunch is over. I made French toast and sausage. We're in the middle of the puzzle. Nothing much planned for the day. Golf is on the menu.chicken parmesan and wilted lettuce salad for dinner. Enjoying the beautiful sunshine.

Spring!!

I love spring so much. I see to the farmers market this morning. I got some leaf lettuce and onions. After that I went to pet smart and. Got Baxter another collar. I hope he doesn't lose this one. Will do some yard work today and later watch the Derby. Later.....

Home sweet Home

I had a great time while away but it's always good to be home. Took Max to his bus this morning y then went back,talked to Madison a bit, walked Mazie,got dressed and headed home. Uneventful drive back.
